Platinum Pest Management LLC wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or voice control. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard commonly used to measure website accessibility.
How the site is built for accessibility
- Text and buttons meet the WCAG AA color contrast levels, including the white text on our orange buttons.
- Every page works with a keyboard, shows a visible outline around the item in focus, and starts with a skip link that jumps past the menu to the main content.
- Pages use real headings, lists and tables, so screen reader users can move through them by section.
- Photos have text descriptions, and decorative images and icons are hidden from screen readers.
- Every form field has a visible label, and required fields are marked.
- Text can be enlarged to 200 percent, and pages reflow to fit small screens without sideways scrolling.
- Animations follow the reduced motion setting on the visitor's device.
The site was checked with automated accessibility testing tools during development.
Known limitations
Some links lead to map and review listings and other websites that we do not control, and those sites may not meet the same standard. The contact form needs JavaScript to send, so anyone who has it turned off, or who has trouble with the form for any reason, can call or text us instead.
